Can I Fix A White Screened Ipod

Im Thinking About Buying My Friends Ipod For 10 Bucks But He Said There Is A White Screen.Can It Be Fixed?

mine was white screened i just plugged it into my computer and hit resore and it was fine.

If all else fails take it the the apple store and they will fix it for you or give you a new one.

generally if it was dropped in water (#1 cause of it) you cant. but if its still under warentee just take it back to the store.

if something fell on it or it fell, then you cant either

but, something can always go wrong with the firmware if you think about it... (that is where restoring would come into play)

When mine white screened, it over charged in my 360. I just let it sit there untill the battery whent dead, charged it and it was fine.

Have you tried pressing the middle button and the top scroll at the same time ;o?

that could be cause your not supposed to plug it into your 360. lol

back when i got my ipod about two years ago they didnt support them.
that was the first time i ever had to restore my ipod (when i plugged it into my friend's 360 and it wouldnt leave the "do not disconnet" screen)
