Things needed:
- iPodWizard v 1.3.7
- iPod (Of Course)
- iPod firmware that you want to mod with(Optional)
NOTE: Only for WINDOWS PC!
Ok Here we go:
Be sure your iPod is connected to your computer and iTunes is COMPLETELY shut of (Go to your processes and end all any process that deals with Apple or iTunes, or iPod)
Then Open up iPodWizard(
iPodWizard)
Now go select iPod or iPod Firmware File(If your modding the fw file instead) and open it up
Now go to Strings and choose 24 for the Lang Block
And in the Big box you can scroll for the word/phrase you want to change, or you can search for your word/phrase in the "Find" text box.
I'll be changing the word iPod for this tut.
So now search or scroll until you find the word iPod BY ITSELF, it should be around the bottom. But it depends on which fw file your using.
Once you find it.
Now in the text box below the search box Type in what you want the word to change to in the box and hit Change String.
NOTE: Theres a limit for how long the word/phrase can be!
