rapidshare is back up and ive got the boot loader ive got to reinstall roxbox cuz the linux installer i used removed it so il wait on that


yea the alien one for 5.5 didnt work and the one for halo did

it wont install it will say ipod not found'

and honestly ipod linux is completely useless IMO
i mean rockbox is kind of use useless but atleast it has games and some cool themes
ipodlinux has no themes as far as im aware and games it only comes with three games

rockbox FTW ipodlinux can suck my 80G nuts am painting 360 controllers so am kinda high right now off vinal paint fems

lol i feel like the biggest idiot heres my story


Ok last week when i was first figureing this out i came across ths video

YouTube - Ipodlinux installation video

so i was watching it and with out any intention of ever makeing a tut i click the download link for the 5G cus thats the one i have

then i made this tut assuming it would work for both
then where their where problems i went threw a huge ordeal trying to find one that would work
Spent forever lol i reformated my ipod trying to find one that would work for you guys

when it ended up that the download link was wright under my nose the whole time

ill have the 5.5 packs up in a little

once i put my ipod back to normal cus i restored it lol

oh wait. my bad. i didnt re-read the first post to see if you updated it. lol

nuh, wait, still aint workin for me...

two things you missed dynasty:

1) you have to be computer admin for ALL parts of this (as i figured out trying to do podzilla for about an hour. lol)

2) after installing podzilla you need to go into your .rockbox folder and copy the rockbox.ipod into the root folder.

is there a place to get linux theme?
