First download AIO v2 RC 1

Ah done this and all seems to work well now. Also used your other 4 in one installer.
Though Podzilla dosnt look a thing like what the screen shots were =/

Edit: When loading iPodLinx at the start it runs through some scan and in the middle it says "Unable to Connect to MPD" Any soloutions?


Lookin through this program and when you get some extensions out its going to be bloody amazing. Thanks to all who created it


PPS: Ok need to fix that MPD thing, cus i have no idea whats wrong with it but anything i try to load on linix now comes up wih a black screen with alot of orange/red code and text. The last few lines say this:

"Error: Unable to connect to MPD
Fatal Signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)
connect: Conection refused
No more tasks for init--sleeping forever.


i think thats possibly the funniest error message i have ever seen

had problems installing ipod linux on ipod mini 2nd gen it went to 90% it come up with and send error report then i start ipod linux again and it say its installed but dont kno how to boot or if anythings rite... help a noob in trouble

To this day i have never been able to get any of these installers to work
your better off going to iPod Linux - Linux for your iPod and finding your own

its so easy it took me 30sec after i saw the tut to put linux on my pod AWSOME I AM SOO HAPPY now where can i find emulators and apps plz post back

if i understood that correctly you found out how to put ipod linux on your ipod using linux as your OS
thats not really a huge accomplishment since it was origionally developed on linux then ported to be installed on windows/mac

and you can get plugins in www.ipodlinux.org

I did this to my first gen iPod Nano (awesome tut) but when I try to access the G:\ drive it tells me there is no disk and to please insert one. What do I do?

Basically you can run extra games on your ipod but rockbox runs them much smoother so IPL is pointless IMO but some people like it

installer 2 doesnt work with generation 5.5

Important Notes

Please read the following very closely before you download Installer 2 and try to install iPodLinux on your iPod!

• For the "improved" revision of 5th Generation iPods (5.5G), Installer 2 will not work. The reasoning is just lack of interest/time/effort. Patches are welcome.
