How To Downgrade Your Ipod Firmware

I've seen alot of people that want to jailbreak their itouch, but have firmware 1.1.2 So heres their chance to jail break as well!

Step 1. On your computer go to Main Page - Touchdev

Step 2. At the top of the page you will see Decrypt Firmware, click it.

Step 3. Look for firmware 1.1.1, once you fnd it, download it, and save it to the desktop, it may take a LONG time to download.

Step 4. Once downloaded, open itunes, and plug in your ipod touch.

Step 5. On itunes, navigate to summary. Where it says "check for updates" or something, your going to hold shift, and click it. It will want you to find the firmware you downloaded, which you saved to your desktop. Find it, and then click ok.

Once done doing whats its doing, you'll have firmware 1.1.1...Congratulations, now you can Jailbreak your ipod touch.

yeah, just use the one steve posted, it should work the same as touchdev...and if that link ever gets dead, im posting it on filefront, but it says it'll take 4 hours,

Touchdev is a dead link now. I tried it and it doesnt work. Anyone have another link? Im trying to jailbreak my itouch right now.

my itunes says that it cant be done. like it says- proccess cannot be fullfiled. something like that. and then when i try and use it it says for the ipod to work you need to restore it. what the heck is this?
