How to put Doom on an Ipod

Ok im really gonna need your help on this. I have the 5gen video ipod, but it wont let me load up linux to download it. Please help me

it should... it doesnt use different files or anything. its just that the ipodlinux has to be for 5.5g

no, im saying that if you want to run idoom on a 5.5g ipod, you have to have the specific linux for a 5.5g ipod. and for a 5g ipod, you have to have the specific linux for a 5g ipod.

i have always had trouble putting linux on my ipod but when i found out how to put rockbox on it and then doom (os is linux) i had absolutely no trouble at all!
