  | haha i just posted on your other thread you made but this was only tested with the 2gig and 4 gig nanos but in theory it would work as long as its the 1st gen | |||||||||

 | Ok, everything is working fine and all that. But, now when I plug my ipod into my computer, it wont show up, so I cant get into my folder. And when I try to turn it off, it wont turn off. or If I try to get back to the normal menu, it doesnt work. | |||||||||

rather than just restarting the ipod in the main menu the thing that you have that shows like music filebrowser and stuff like that settings and so on there is a thing that says Power click it then choose quit linux (or sumthing along those lines) and it will show sum codes wait till its done showing the codes then do the restart. Also ive sometimes had to do it twice because it didnt work right but when booting up again dont touch ANYTHING  that should do it. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Um, how long should I wait for the code to disappear? Because I've been waiting 5 minutes, and its been on the same thing, "Execution Finished, Exiting" Edit* Its now been another 4 minutes, and Im still waiting... Last edited by AstroManiacX; 03-06-2007 at 07:16 PM. | |||||||||

| mines ****ed up since i did what you said to quit the podzilla thing or w/e. i cant do ****, comp wont read it, itunes wont read it, the program to instal linux wont read it. its just stuck with the codes | |||||||||

| well then you did something wrong but i did give a warning so dont come crying back to me call best buy and see if they will fix it also dont tell them u tried to mod it and to get rid of codes (try frying the harddrive sumhow) | |||||||||

| Well, Im gonna wear out my battery so that it HAS to turn off. Then, Im gonna see I can fix it there. If it doesnt, then I have to go to RadioShack or Best Buy to fix it. If I do end up doing that, then I will hate you forever Unknowing Acorn. | |||||||||

| I did everything perfect in your tutorial. I followed step by step, and I didnt mess up anywhere. And yet, it still ruined my Ipod. Oh, and BTW, draining the battery didnt work, which means I DO have to go to Best Buy/Radioshack to get it fixed. The only way I will ever like you again is if you find a way to fix my Ipod before I go to a store soon. | |||||||||
