This is a list of all the iPods out right now or in the past.
The ones with a * next to them ARE moddable.
(that i know of)

Regular iPods

5.5 gen* [click here to tell if you have a 5.5g or 5g iPod]

Edge* (jailbreakable and unlockable)
3G* ("just a little update iPhone 3Gs are now unlockable if you have a baseband version previous to the 2.2 update" ~ forgoten dynasty)



Here is a short list of the ones that ARE NOT moddable:

Is the iPod Clasic Moddable? It's 80 gig, and I do believe it's 5th gen, but "Clasic" was not mentioned in the list. So I thought i'd ask.

put a star next to the 1st gen touch
to be more specific on the 3G

doubtful they haven't even looked at the 2nd gen.
And only one member on the dev team has a 2nd gen touch.
