Older 2gb Nano

Older 2gb Nano
I have an old 2gb iPod nano, and I don't like the fact that I have to use iTunes [it's so slow, even though it's so sexy]. Also, the blan screen gets old fast. Is there any hacks around for an older iPod? Anything from a basic theme to a different program to use for audio uploading.
For the record, 2nd Gen nano.

well their theirs no theme or hack but their are many programs out including winamps and realplayer

If I was on my computer I would link you to like 10 threads asking the same question but Im on my itouch so just search
