They're all skeptically citing Gizmodo, who are notorious for posting up on launch dates. They did the same thing they're doing now for the first iPhone too.

It could be true, but no FCC approval and no source cited other than "someone close to it" makes it seem a bit fishy.

And WWDC is more for software, not hardware.
