i did that, now i can only make emergency phone calls. how do unlock the iphone without a sim card anyways.

You can get a sim card for cheap (maybe free) from your provider. Just go in there and ask them if you can get another sim card for your phone.

i don't want to use it as a phone. I want to use as a itouch with a camera. I want to bypass the emergency phone call screen and go back to the normal screen where I can use safari or whatever app there is

My advice is trade it for an iTouch people would much rather have an iPhone. -.-
