no. sprint uses CDMA networks, as do verizon and nextel. AT&T and T-mobile use GSM which is what the iphone uses.

Yes, but you have to have an unlocked IPhone. I do not think they have figured out how to unlock the 3G's yet but if you have any other one you can get it unlocked.

currently typing this from an iphone 3g on tmobile.

you need a hard unlock like i-smartphone or simfree sor something like that

they are working on the unlock via software on the comp tho... and 3g speeds can't be used on t-mobile.
