| Not cheaper. They're $800+ on eBay. And it's $600 for one from AT&T without a commitment, but you have to have a line of service. If you buy one for $200, you have to pay the first month's bill and an ETF to cancel it. 2G ones are going way cheaper on eBay. They both have the same dimensions. The 3G just has a restyled rear panel. | ||||||

(same as ATT) and although we can't check yet (bootneuter not available yet) i think that the iphone has the ability to work on all GSM frequencies, seeing as how it was released in 200 countries, and the US is the ONLY coutry that uses the 850/1900 band... we will see come monday or tuesday (hopefully..) when pwnage tool 2.0 is released

| T-Mobile uses the AWS band which uses the 1700mhz/2100mhz bands for 3G. The 2100mhz band they use IS NOT the 2100mhz band used in Europe and Asia. They aren't using the 1900mhz band or 850mhz band for 3G at all. Their GSM is on the 1900mhz band. If you want a 3G T-Mobile phone you have to get it from them. Wrong again. Overseas all 3G is on the 2100mhz Euro/Asian band. 850 and 1900mhz is used for 3G in the US, Canada, Australia. Last edited by T Sizzles; 07-14-2008 at 02:55 PM. | ||||||

I'd sell my soul for it if i hadn't have already sold it to the Devil for 50 skill in Halo 3. Unfortunately... Lucifer found a loop hole and only gave me the skill. Sonuva***** made me earn the experience myself.

| All iPhones are the same hardware wise. The software is different to support different locales and languages, and probably holds a software lock for the carrier it is sold with. The number of bands have nothing to do with the data speed. Last edited by T Sizzles; 07-14-2008 at 07:35 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost | ||||||
