Unanswered: cost money to activate iphone thru itunes???

long story short, i had an unlocked and jailbroken iphone 1.1.4 and then tried to use winpwn 2.0 and jailbreak and unlock to 2.0, my question is, i have to restore through itunes, so i did and does it cost money for me to activate my iphone? if so.. how can i unlock it and jailbraek it.. cause something is messed up??
