| well i phail First i went to the source by circuit city hopeing they might have one but they didnt they pointed me towards a computer store downtown and it didnt either so really all i did was spend another 20 dollars on gas and buy some clothes... lol. um. you said i could use the breadbord i have i would really apreciate it if you could tell me how i could translate the alpha numeric system.. as i have no chance of getting the one you have. Also im not sure about what to do with my wrong voltage potenttiometer. Like, would it tottaly not work? because like other then voltage its suposed to be easy to cut it down to size. well ima noob and spent alot of money on a doomed project ![]() Thanks. Dragon. edit- jocarb the tools only cost like 13 dollars (CDN) And having a soldering gun is something you'll want downthe road in life .ie when the next xbox comes out and you want to cheat on it too Last edited by DragonforceXSV; 06-08-2008 at 07:51 PM. | ||||||

| It would be easier if you had me make you one and just payed for parts and shipping and than soldered the board yourself to your controller. I have no idea how that board of yours is layed out so I can't translate it. The only thing you could do is use the schematic up top and see if you can make that breadboard work some way with that. With the trimmer just toss it i guess or use it to make something else thats cool too. | ||||||

| Cold solder joints are bad. You can tell by looking at the solder and if it looks cloudy than you'll need to redo the solder joint. Good solder joints look shiny. Cold solder joints happen when you either A.You move the wire while the solder is cooling or B. The solder cools to quick. It will sometimes cause a bad connection to the area you are trying to solder too which means an incomplete circuit and we all know thats a bad thing | ||||||
