Xbox SPRING controller?

I have finally decided to create a se7ensins account. I've been coming to these forums for some time now. (like the new look of the website) This is where I learned to mod my hard mod my xbox and mod halo 2. But enough about that...

I have heard some of my friends talking about this, but I can't seem to find this on the internet anywhere. They say that if you put another spring into your right trigger that it will then cause the controller to think your pressing the right trigger more then you really are. Hence instead of needing to actually put a PIC or a 555 timer and sodder stuff, you just put a spring into the controller and you can fire rapidly.

I'm just wondering if this is true and if anyone knows where I could find a tut.
