| Novice | [REQ] rapid fire controller without soldering? Is it possible to make one without soldering the wires? Because i don't really want to make one if you have to because i will probably break my controller. And i cant buy one because i dont have a credit card. |

| Novice | Re: [REQ] rapid fire controller without soldering? I opened my wired controller and cut the right trigger spring in half. It greatly increased my firing speed (but not as fast as a mod.) This helps your speed and is easy to make. |

| Novice | Re: [REQ] rapid fire controller without soldering? i'll try that and it does sound like it works. And i cant use that for a wireless controller because i dont have a security hole in my screw driver and you dont need that for wired controllers |

| Novice | Re: [REQ] rapid fire controller without soldering? I see a fail thread starting soon. First of all, do you have a T8 torx security bit? If the answer is no, you won't even be able to open the controller up unless you break the pins and use a regular T8 torx bit. I tried to break the pins but was a pain in the a$$ so I just ended up going out and buy one. Second, tape and glue won't cut it. No matter what. Third, I had to use a Dremel and cut some of the support inside the controller because of the route of the wires. Lastly, why would you want to do this mod? It worked last year but earlier this year, xbox patched it so this mod doesn't work as well. I am not trying to sound harsh but I can tell that you are a kid. If you are really trying to get a modded controller I would suggest working for money and buying one on-line that is designed for specific games. If you are too young to get a job, ask your parents if there is anything around the house that you can do and get paid. At least that is how I earned a buck when I was young even if it included cleaning or mowing the yard. |
