This is so easy. The only hard thing is the plexi.

Re: How to install lights in HDD

I have a question of what resistor you used, sorry I am not a electrical person thanks

Click the image to open in full size.
heres a diagram its the soder points of the actual power connection on the xbox 360 motherboard, if you use a 4 pin molex and soder the wires here you will be pulling power directly from psu and nothing from the 360 itself. great for extra fans.

Where can I buy the resistor you used easier than hunting it down, be great if you still had the site thanks!

You really only need 1 resistor. A resistor is used for security, they protect against the LED's drawing too much power. Put one between the first LED and the power supply. That should be fine.

Re: How to install lights in HDD

which size resistor? please tell! and also after you connect the first led to the yellow/black wire and resistor, do you connect the rest off of the first led's wires?

Re: How to install lights in HDD

Just a added thing, maybe you should mention something about resistors and where they go like, on the positive or negative wires.. just for people that don't know.
