Re: Adding LEDs into the HDD?

Honestly, no that's not a good dremel. Don't settle for anything under the Dremel brand, it's worth the few extra bucks. I have the Dremel 300 series, it's perfect for xboxes. You want something that can handle 3500rpm, anything over the 300series is overkill for xboxes. This 300 series could probably even handle metal computer cases too with no problem. Also, I'll do a little research for yo u and see if I can come up with something on the status light.

Hey, I don't have a 360 harddrive that I can open up right now, Is there any way you could get me some high res pictures of yours? The inside components obviously

Hmm....they're just not showing what I want. If you can hold off and wait till I get a harddrive in my hands to open I'll check it out for you.

How to put lights in Xbox 360 HDD

And just to double check that is parallel circuitry right?

And also would this be a good wire to use to do these all together?

Re: Adding LEDs into the HDD?

Yes. The correct name for those LEDs are 0603 SMD's. The 600mcd one's are the best

Re: Adding LEDs into the HDD?

Need some advice, I want to paint in the "Xbox 360" that is imprinted on the side of the case. I plan on painting it in black... But anyways any advice on how to do it so that i don't have to sit there and tape up every nook and crany?
