Be careful if your using a re-chargeable battery pack, the second you plug the wire into your controller to charge, the mod will not work. You will have to take the charge cable out, pull out the battery pack (or turn controller off) and then turn it back on for it to work right. Otherwise it was easy as pie, and you should mention for people who are new to soldering to be VERY careful with the LED, mine broke because I moved the wire too much and it cracked it. Also don't forget to use your flux! Dirty wires = bad connections! Wide shot ![]() Used a hot glue gun to back it, insulates it well so the wires wouldn't get crossed. ![]() Ignore the blue electrical tape, I originally used heavy gauge wire, but switched. ![]() Outside is digusting, but I'm repainting my controller anyway.. Textured spraypaint, for better grip! | ||||||
