the parts i would need are:

Lead Free Solder Wire
Insulated Wire ( 30 AWG)
Tact Switches 7mm

that's my next step, I'm gonna try one with the chip, the matrix styles one, the scariest part for me was soldering to the led =\ lol, also any one know any good brands of small soldering irons, something thats really thin. that would be real helpful.

Weller 40 Watt Soldering Kit - SP40LK at The Home Depot

I use that for all sorts of things, small electronics, guitar wiring etc.. It works well and is easier when I don't want to bring out the bigger one.

When you turn on the wireless search , the power goes on to the board from that switch, and you take that power to power the chip.

Just take a small flat head screw driver and break the security thing off (little metal thing in the middle of the screw).

And if you can't manage to break them off, you can get one of these eBay Motors: Bondhus TR9 Torx Security T9 Wrench 32409 (item 280277736595 end time Nov-16-08 06:59:14 PST)

Already tried, hot solder won't connect to the cold solder

What? Just put the wire on the metal ground then put some solder there and touch it with the soldering iron.

Ya I know, I have done soldering before, I think that the tip of the iron is so bad that its not transfuring enough heat to melt the solder, >>>>

Re: How to make a Rapid Fire Controller

Sorry, i thought you were trying to melt the ground point on the controller. Try just putting the tip on some solder and see if it melts.

Re: How to make a Rapid Fire Controller

I have noticed something very funny. When the controller is off and u push the button the light turns on but very dim.

Is there any way to not connect it to the light because it has to be controller 1 for it to work for me. Am I doing anything wrong?
