Where can I get it. I'd rather get this at a store, but will order online if I need to. Also, what kind of LEDs do I need for the RoL on the console? and what kind do I need for the controller RoL. Where can I get them? These I'd rather just order online. Thanks.

Make sure you get some rosin core solder as well. Be warned. Surface mount soldering is not really for a beginner, and these LEDs are really quite small. Good Luck!

If your gonna do it make sure you have the right screwdrivers! Only use a 15 - 40 watt Soldering iron and keep the tip clean. Also but 1 or 2 more LEDs in case you burn one out. Sorry I couldn't help about the whereabouts as I get mine in the UK. I may only be 14 and trying but I have a little experience from school and read loads of tuts.

My dad says the thing, which I still don't doubt him, but with xboxes and electronics it's much different. First off, you'll need 0603 SMD's, 5 of them to be exact. For a soldering Iron, no more than a 15W which you can easily get from a local Radioshack. You can also use the same 0603 LEDs on your controller. I'm going to be writing many tutorials soon on how to do so, and I'll be opening a mod shop soon and I'll be modding ROLs
