vcr-too hard caompared to a capture card

You're actually supposed to just have a raw dump of the outputted screens onto the hard drive.

But Microsoft won't let us do that

im not spending like $100 on a stupid capture card, and im not waiting like a week for something to be delivered, nor am i giving out my credit card number

but... i might if theres like a $30 capture card online, but one in a store is better

30 dollar capture card is called typing out what you're seeing.

If you get a 30 dollar one you will HAVE to get it online, and with your credit card number.

Otherwise get an overpriced one in stores for 60-140.

Even if you get a 30 dollar one, you'll shoot yourself because of the quality.

And don't even say you don't care about quality, because if you get a crappy card that works for a day and what it records looks like abstract art, you'll be pissed.

He could buy a DVD recorder, a VCR, or a camcorder.

But all of those are much worse ways to record, and cost more then a capture card would (in order to get the footage digital).
