![]() | Bungies Detection I don't know if you all remember back in the golden days when halo 2 modding was first introduced and it was undetectable. All night modding sessions with your party going up against enemy modders seeing who was "1337"er . Well I'm forming a team to bring those days back. Ive been out of the loop for a while been keeping up a bit here and there nothing big. What im looking is to form a team to find a way around bungies detection methods. Now my 2 theories on the type of detection they're using is either a Hash Check on each map or an offset check. Now what i do know is every map is scanned or checked for mods. I know this because you get banned for using mods on old maps, yes ive tried the hotswap method so i know from experience. I would like to invite anyone who is knowledgeable and or experienced in modding and or hex editing/programming or xbe code to join the team and help bring back the golden days. Also any information on bungies detection methods whether it be rumors or solid facts is welcomed. Were also looking for someone experienced in web design because i foresee needing a website and forums. I hope everyone is interested and cheers to the people who hate "douche bag modders". For anyone interested contact me on aim at thatmexdudenyc or shoot me an email at ivanny109@gmail.com -Mexdude

![]() | well yea cheating feedback has always been a problem even back when it was undetectable but whats better a week worth of modding or a couple of hours? Not to mention most kids these days dont even leave feedback and it takes quite a bit to get you banned believe me i was around back then.

The two things you would probably have to do is get a sample of the packets with a gamertag when the gamertag was unbanned, and then get a sample of the packets from the SAME gamertag on the SAME xbox and compare the two. You'll probably end up finding a detection flag, but what you're looking for is probably going to be the same for each one of them (the searching algorithm) Don't ask me how to take apart packets, because i don't know

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Bungie checks to see if you have modified the map AT ALL, you would pretty much need a way to trick them into thinking the map wasn't modified. Then there's feedback, there is pretty much NO WAY you can stop it unless you VERY good 1337 hacker(which I would prefer you not to try because most people are stupid with hacking).

| no, they don't check to see if you have modified the maps AT ALL, because if so they would be checking through about 200 mb's of data EVERY time that you sign on. Last time i checked it didn't take 10 minutes to sign on....... it uses an algorithm to check SOME parts of the code, and if that code isn't changed you can still get online. | |

![]() | im not even planning on attempting feedback because thats damn near impossible because you would need to have access to the data stored not on bungies but on microsoft xbox live server because bad feedback gets sent straight to the microsoft xbl database.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | if its the feedback thats the only problem left it shouldnt be a problem anymore becuase cant you delete the feedback with zonealarm ? <(i dont really no what i was talking about) or you can just ask bungie how they detect the mods and ask them if theres a way around it.

| Yes let's ask bungie how to cheat on their game.........that's the smart way to do it [sarcasm] Feedback is only possibly to get around if you put a virus in Microsoft's servers. Besides that too bad. | |
