If you did like i did you put in splinter cell or whatever game you used and go to the dashboard from there and see if theres a switch mod on/off selestion.

ok...this happened to me and I spent like an hour trying to figure this out...your xbox has to update...so put in the game halo 2 and then before you sign in on live scroll down on your XBL accounts and click on Register New Account...then it will automatically update and then it will let you make new accounts and account recover!!! Hope this helped!!

and you do not have to unsoftmod your xbox!!

im not sure but thats the reason i never actually install a softmod, i just FTP through Splinter Cell.
