Mongoose Mowdown tips ?

Anyone have any tips for getting the Mongoose Mowdown achievement ?

Do what I did:

As soon as the pregame menu comes up ask if anyone is boosting for gamerpoints and ask to do the mongoose mowdown one lol.

Try harder?

I haven't gotten it but I don't play lone wolves that much. I have heard it's kinda hard to get....I guess just spend the whole time driving around and trying to find someone, I would think it would only take a few maps to get it

Like my game last night, This noob was like "Anyone want to let me the "Lee R Wilson Memorial" achievement? Then stick him like 3 times and got the achievement.

It's hard when you get a map that is all hilly.

Every map in lone wolves that has a mongoose, just grab it and start trying to run people down. The whole game.

Don't worry about winning, just try to mow them down.

I did that for 2-3 games and finally caught a sniper in the back on High Ground.

Mongoose > Him > Rock

If you play on High Ground you have a better chance at getting it.

yeah unfortunately you gotta smack someone going full force on a mongoose to even hurt them. taking fire from a needler will slow you down more than enough to negate the kill.

jumpers and terrain add to the pain in the *** that is this achievement.

Throw a granade at the person to lower their sheilds then run their *** over.

they jump... I worked on this for like 3 hours today.

And can you even throw grenades from a mongoose? I've never tried.

Only thing I can think of is having a passenger shoot at them to drop shields while I drive.

And they don't realize you're there, so they don't jump.

I find it really hard. When im trying to ride away, every shot from an assault rifle move the whole mongoose.

Yeah, but I'm sure someone like Carson or FifthFreedom or w/e will do it for people pretty soon...

I FINALLY got this elusive SOB about an hour ago. I ran full speed from the chain link gate to the beach on high ground & nailed a player who was kind enough to wait in me full speed & it didn't kill him.

Another player who wasn't being so helpful shot him with a sniper rifle on my next pass to drop his shield for me...

what a pain in the @$$!

Most effective way to kill with the mongoose is to tail whip them. Hitting them full force you aren't guaranteed a kill, but with a tail whip its guaranteed all the time. I use it against zombies on infection games
