[Guide] How To AFK in Matchmaking

AFK(Away From Keyboard) is a key commonly used to describe a person who is in a game, but not playing, otherwise known as Away From Controller(Xbox360). This used to be an accident but is now a way to make Halo 3 Deranker or "Booster" accounts.

To do this my way you will need the following:
1) Xbox Live Gold Account(obvious)
2) Halo 3
3) Hori Pad Controller

Hori Pad Controller:

Standard XBOX 360 Button/Stick Configuration, Cross D-Pad
2-stage Turbo available for A/B/X/Y
Features rumble and XBOX Live headset jack.
Only available wired w/ 9.5ft cord.
Compatible with both XBOX360 and PC via USB port (WinXP).

It looks like this:


This controller pushes any of the A/B/X/Y buttons at two speeds: Normal (13 Time/second) and Fast (26 Time/second)
THE TURBO DOES NOT ACTIVATE UNLESS THE BUTTON YOU HAVE SWITCHED ON IS ACTIVATED!

Now, you may ask how this controller would help you to derank in Halo 3, and the answer is this. When you start up the game you follow these steps:

1) With your Hori Pad plugged in, sign onto the account you wish to derank.
2) Select the playlist you wish to derank in.
3) Push the Turbo A Button Switch to Normal or Fast, either way, doesnt matter.
4) Take a rubber band and put it around the controller ensuring it presses the A button down firmly.
It will look like this:

NOTE: The Box should be pressed to the right.
5) Your game should start.

Now if you use default game controls, your spartan/elite should jump the whole game long because the A button is being pressed either 13 or 26 times a second. When the game is over IT WILL return you to the lobby. The message will pop up saying "You have been Returned to the lobby. The party leader appears to be away." Now you won't even really notice this because once again, you are constantly pressing the A button and it will simply dismiss the message and restart you search in matchmaking.
