Lone Wolves Boosting using the:
- Prefer good connection method for (AUS and NZ)
- Or just the Language method for all nations.
This can be done to either get the achievements or get up ranks.
The prefer good connection method:
This is an easy way for
Australians or
NZ etc to match up in Lone Wolves and hopefully win every game.
Get together some friends who you want to do it with and get into party chat.
Once in party chat get everyone to start their own individual parties. Tell them to search in
Prefer Good Connection. This is important as it gives you a really high chance of matching up with your friends who are also Australian NZ etc.
(the reason why this doesnt work for Americans is that there are alot more people searching in Lone Wolves that will give an American good connection. as a result there is less chance for them to match up).
However (ANYONE) could just use the
language boosting method where you change your language (obviously having your friends change to the same one) and then selecting prefer language. This however takes effect of going to dashboard and reading funky language and usually takes a much longer time to find games.
Once searching for a match, be sure to monitor how many matched players you have, communicating them with your friends. This can help you determine whether you are together or not. 99% of the time this works. Just make sure you pay attention. I have been grouped with all randoms sometimes when i dont let my friends now how many matched players i have or i just wasnt watching the screen getting locked into a game.
If this happens to you it would be nice to let your friend(s) now so they can back out and avoid doing what happened to you.
Advice:
When doing this. The most effective way to win is to have one of your friends feeding you kills. However this will Unfortunately mean that they will probably lose.
If you all want to win you can work together. Team kill opponents. This is often easier in objective games as you can protect the player in the hill or with the ball.
Another thing to note is that Bungie will stop you ranking up if you just keep playing the same people for more than three games or so. It is for this reason that i usually just do this with no more than 2 friends. This ensures we can effectively work together and still get randoms each game.
And like anything boosting and such excessively is probably going to give you a short suspension or ban due to the numerous Feedbacks you get. So just play in moderation and you should be fine.
