Banned for using Turbo controller

I just turned on my monitor, after deranking all night via using a turbo controller, and I found myself to be banned. I had another person in my party that just left his wired controller plugged in and he did not get banned. Is this an addition to the banhammer? Has anyone else been banned for using a turbo?

Yes. The controller I had had ABXY options... and I had it set to have my character jump and it was set to simulate the button being pushed 13 times a second.

Rapidire is associated with triggers to make you fire faster, turbo controllers are for the XYAB buttons. You used to be able to get Microsoft Licensed turbo controllers.

Yes I am aware, I was just tryin to help him understand And yes, I got a Microsoft licensed turbo, a Hori.


And bans typically start at 1 week and then go to a month and then 3 months if you get banned again. Luckily for me my box is somewhat new and I haven't gotten banned previously to this so I only got a week ban. If it was more than a week ban id try the walmart switch.

Xbox 1 turbo controllers were associated with the triggers along with the buttons as well. Sad that they don't have them for 360.

They're not going to ban you for using turbo controller. There isn't any way for them to know that you are.
It's most likely bad feedback (which you will accumulate allot of in one night of just standing there and jumping). Or you've been banned for something else.

He wasn't banned for using a turbo controller. He was banned for going in and losing tons of games to make a booster account.

And you probably got banned because Bungie upgraded the banhammer last week, which they stated in the last Bungie Weekly Update.

I know they stated it, and I know the update caused the ban. It probably has something to do with not getting any kill/assists in a certain amount of consecutive games or within 24 hours. Cause that day I had it run overnight, then while I was out for like 8 hours, then again overnight. After about 4 and half hours of letting it run overnight (29 games) I got banned (checked bungie.net). I am going to look into if others get banned. Cause if they didn't, I got banned cause of letting the turbo run for like 18 hours in a 24 hour period. If others don't get banned, I'm going to to still use my turbo but in moderation.

Also, if my ban was a result of an update to the banhammer, I believe that what I got banned for will affect griffball boosting/any social boosting. We will see.
