What you would put in a montage is snipes that impossible to take. No scopes from across the map.

bad clips + bad editing = bad montage

Im sorry to say but I did not enjoy watching either of your videos. Next time you should try and get some better clips and have some sort of effects other than having every clip in slow-mo. Also make sure not to have the timeline up from theatre and please don't stage anymore clips. (your second montage was fine but there were a few that were obviously staged in the first one)

i dont think its bad for your first two montages..i think what these other guys really want to say is that you need more editing and take out all your missed shots..i mean that's what a montage is. NO MISSED SHOTS. GREAT sticks and pwnge over all...all you really need to do is remake it..good **** though you aren't too bad. i've def. seen a lot worse

This is criticism, if you think I am harsh, go to h3f and post it, you'll see how many horrible responses you get.
1. No scopes up close is nothing, everyone does it, unless it's a triple+
2. Regular sniper shots are BAD for a montage, EVERYONE gets them all the time (even doubles kills) Especially on the first montage, you sometimes took a while to snipe a person in the head, and then thats the end of the clip, which that is stupid for a montage
3. Editing is terrible, clip after clip after clip, it shows the time at top, and it will show where you're paused then you play
4. Shotgun triple is not really good
5. A flag beat down when your invisible? No skill shown
6. Please don't include a snipe shot off the ground when it was hit off the ground 2 feet from him, and plus you made it WAY to slow.
7. Some of the stick doubles/triples are common, most good montages have ones where they through them across map, Watching the 1st one now, some of them are alright, but not really "amazing"


Basically to sum it up, put alot more time into your next montage (if you're planning on doing it), maybe go to h3f and read tuts and stuff on editing. Try to get AMAZING snipes, such as no scopes across map, overkills with snipe, and good multi kills. Sticks you really need to make amazing aka far away ones not close up.

Well it was alright, but honestly in Halo 3 there is no excuse to not add amazing kills in your montage, since technically you always have your games recording, in Halo 2 you could only get what you captured like I had tons of sick kills that I regreted to not have recorded haha, but now I was playing a random social game and killed 2 people with one snipe.. with no visible? ricochet it's hard to explain but it bounced off the ground and hit a wall and still killed another guy, Idk how... but I can always go back and watch it whenever I want . Anyways.... It was alright not too bad.

Dude, since this is your first Montage many of these people understand. We all had to start somewhere. Take what advice we give you in here and when you do decide to make another one, incorporate that advice into the new one. Good luck on your other one. Let me know when you have finished it so i may take a look.

Tt looks like it took him 20 minutes in vegas, he could have made it a lot better using wmm if he put some time into it.

@ EoW, if you want next time your making a tage let me know and i can edit for you, just work on the gameplay .

There are ALOT of first montages 20x better than his. You can't tell me I need to be nice that isn't even good what so ever.

I haven't even made a montage (and I kinda plan to eventually when I care about recording) and my first one will most likely be so much better.

Also try not to have guest kills in your montages. Takes away the skill a little.
