Also, I think that this is called film modding is pretty clear and dont know how you can justify what I said by using that. Your sarcasm is not needed when people are trying to help others. Also, the codes are only used if you were to use a hex editor to replace the codes. Which he obviously isnt going to do If he is asking in the App thread based on this.

Using an app is just like using a Hex editor, expect it comes in a pretty GUI (sometimes). It's still changing the same values no matter what.

Yeah. But its layed out and is restricted to what it can do. A Hex ed is an app too. But its designed to do various stuff when compared against something that is only designed to hex ed specific code lines. Some people dont understand this and it conffuses them. End of?

The highest elite perms go I think is 04.

And how would it fit on an elite? X_X

^ Thats a good idea anyone test that out yet? Oh and do i have to use Xport to get it off my 360 to mod. I have Xplorer. And plus once its done how do i get it back on the 360. Other than that great tut. Im afraid you guys will just tell me to read the stickys and the last ten pages. I have red the first ten pages of the forums and still dont understand. i got the film rehashed and resigned, and back on to the hdd and it lets me load the film now. but when the game starts is says "there was an error while playing film" and it never starts it just goes to black screen and ends...i double checked my armor editing and its in the right spot. any help?

someone informed me in another thread, that apparently u cant have on default armor or you get this error. so i just put on diff. armor and it works.

I've Just noticed, does anybody know what the colour for actual BLACK and ZOMBIE colours? and the MC green anybody even tried to find out?

How would I find this out for the master chief but for the other ones should I just make a film with a person in each

wht would the hex say if ur armour changes in the game like wen u become a zombie

I dunno what it would say, thats why im asking if anybody knows.. Im guessing forced colour would just over-ride the normal colour code.. from start of the name you go forward 32.. they are the colour codes i believe..

The only colors you can edit to are the ones in the main menu when you edit your perms.

Forced color is stored in the gametype, so you would have to edit that.

could i just make 2 game types then make the forced color black and zombie color but how would i find out master chief color

if i start campaign then just end it get the film wht would i seach for like when u seach the gamer tag would i still seach the gamertag of the player playing as master chief

There is no "MasterChief color" that you can edit. That shade of green is reserved only for campaign.

This tutorial is outdated..there are programs that do this for you now...[update]Forge Edit : Film Tool

and yes, you need a way to transfer the film to your computer...

i did this then went onto halo 3 and it sed file currupt so i rehashed and resined went bk to H3,it worked but nothing had chagedcan someone tell me how to do it right thanx!!!
