As many of you have seen and also brought to my attention, the spam and flaming has gotten way to far out of hand. This is a warning to all of you that like to contribute to this ever burning fire of "treating people like crap", you will be infracted any time we see it now. After the infraction is handed out, the post will then be deleted.
What to do if you spot the idiocy of others:
1. REPORT the post - This button can be found on all posts and looks like an exclamation point (for those of you without much education, it's the "!" look image
).
2. Turn the other cheek - After you've reported it, it's only a matter of time before the user is infracted and the post is deleted. Do not get caught up in this. If you do, you will also be infracted and your post deleted.
This section needs to be more friendly. Friendly to others and especially friendly to newbs. If there's a certain question always asked and you don't like repeating yourself, make an FAQ and see if a staff member (usually the H3 Modding sectional mod) can stick it for you. Any time a user asks that question, refer them to that thread.
Respect others. Remember, you once knew nothing about modding. Point people in the right direction. Being mean will get you no where. But being nice can build contacts and some times those people can really help you out in the future...you never know.
