what do you mean?

like it still rehashes it even though the program will not say table fixed and it makes a second copy of the map that says usermap000123289734.crash.crash

Ok, basically you need both. If im right ( which im most likely not as I dont know jack all bout the resigner ^_^ ) the rehasher makes it so H3 can see it and open it whereas the resigner makes it playable. You cant play on a non resigned map.

Thats what I thought a rehasher was...

A rehasher hashes the files contents and a resigner basically makes a value that verifies that the whole CON file is not modified.

depending on the Type of Resigner. This is correct for a CON Resigner.

hmmm

Let me get this straight skatezero and superaison already released a CON Resigner for $20 and no one is talking bout it. well the word on modhalo.net is that it works but recently stopped working i feel like buying it to see if it works but i'd rather hear about it from the actual makers soo my question is........ does this CON Resigner work [ Container file resigner - haloelites.org ]

yea and it works you just have to buy it and they havnt finished it yet

so when u open a usermap how do u know which map it actually is? like in the actual game

there is probably an easyer way but i just use wxpirs and it tells me but you could also use a hex editor

unstuck because Newer Threads have come out

Carsons contains both Resigner and Rehashers

Venomous's contains a step by step tutorial on modding a map/film from start to finish

Most forge maps are 116 kb.
No that is not always the case, MODDED maps usually come out of forge to be 176 KB. You might want to add some code in there to fix that, lolz. You don't have to of course you don't have to I'm just saying it happens all the time. Like I need this, but so far all me mods come out at 176kb. It sucks, but hey, you probly worked hard to make it so props to ya! 4 out of 4 thumbs up!

Honestly, I doubt anyone even uses this rehasher anymore.
