And plus, there will never be a way to mod halo 3 over xbox live. period. It is known that when connecting to xb0x live, halo 3 will run the maps through a hash encryption and check it against the hashes stored on the server. unfortunately, I think you are correct, but it is hard to believe with everyone posting rubbish about modding. FOR YOU retards Who Don't knoW ****, YES, THERE ARE HALO MODS to a certain extent, BUT ITS WITH A DAMN DEV KIT!!!!!!! No ACTUAL mods (resigning, stuff like that). Unfortunately, everyone has to be so damn secretive all the time and those who do know something about modding are remaining silent...They treat the community like children, deciding if we are "allowed" to mod or not because they're scared that we'll **** up matchmaking. Well **** them. They have no right to decide what we can and can not do. Those big name F@gs won't let us do what we want. We have to help ourselves, and unfortunately none of us can. Everyone at halomods is a peice of **** when it comes to free speech and individualism. They are practically a second micro$oft. They even blacklist the name of this site on their forum for Christ's sake!
Now I think im just rambling, so I'm gonna stop. Modding will probably not happen for an extremely long time, if at all.

Theres no stock dev kit with the mods XeNoN7 and I run, we upgraded our stock 360s. Also you don't have to be a big name to accomplish something. Look at me, I'm small time but I teamed up with XeNoN7 and we did some research into some things and we started building on ideas and other things... You can actually do this yourself. Nobody's telling you, you can or cannot do something we just won't be held accountable for the destruction of games we like to play. If you want to use mods, then make them yourself. Nobody's stopping you, but when it comes to things we own its not your decision to tell us rather or not we should give it up. Just wait patients is a virtue. We already have linux running just wait until somebody makes 360 specific apps, then you can run all the homebrew you want.

I guess I'm starting to become a noob from all the trash posted here sometimes. I'm sorry. But seriously, if you guys would make this a public effort, progress would go much faster. I understand your concerns about cheating, but this will actually bring in a lot of great things for halo that couldn't be accomplished before...so sure! there will be some people who will be ****s, but you can't stop that, no matter how hard you try. Do you think that the creators of guns are murderers? no. The people who abuse them are. It isn't considered a crime for inventing a gun. The same can be said for modding.

You have a well stated and good point here mate, everyone is just saying that no cheating stuff because they're sick of being basically getting standbyed and losing. But on the inside, they know they can't wait to be in a boosting party, modding on TS online in H3.

But still....keeping everything hush-hush isn't really a nice thing to do....You get more support if you share In a way, you're doing exactly what that fraud Nick is doing with Promethius. He played everyone for a lot of years. Still stands to reason the cheating factor. Nobody's keeping anything hush hush. And yeah I told everyone Prometheus was fake but no.... no one believed me, now look. I'm not looking for support the whole reason the video was made is to show you it was possible to do this on a stock xbox360 if you know what you need to do to it to make it run like a XDK. This way showing people it can be done. However we have given out far more information then we had planned to the point of almost compromising things. If your really interested in the moding of halo 3 then you can find ways to make it yourself. However I strongly support the idea of a custom kernel that I keep hearing about so I request everyone just wait till then to run their mods to protect live.

alright, I thought about it for a while and I came to realize something. You're against modding on xbox live...ok that's fine. We'll wait for a custom kernal....cool, but how the **** are we gonna play multiplayer mods? In case you haven't realized, Microsuck has added a ping filter which practically destroys any possiblilty of playing halo 3 on Xlink kai or xbox connect! That is a b*tch! That is like you saying "Ok, you can now mod, but you can't mod on xbox live"
