We can resign files for Dev's because we know their KeyPairs and all.
We can't on Stock 360's because we need public ones which are private.

I would guess that is correct, no?

well aparently to ddxcb .xex resigning is impossible idk though dont u have to resign xexs to run on dev kits

Dev kits use a different keypair then retail consoles. So yes, you still need to resign, but people know how to do it for dev kits.

yea dev kits woop like try getting 1 + extract the keys of it + "REMOVEING THE CHECKS OF THE XEX TO PLAY MODDED MAPS" most people dont know how and the people that do wont give it out bc there ****s

There are public tools that can sign XEX's for dev-kits... And they're not ****s... They won't release how to remove the map checks for many reasons, the main being that it is COMPLETELY USELESS to you, also it is THEIR research and THEIR work so they don't have to give it out to ungreatful pricks, much like yourself.

Xenon won't give it out because then little kids would be buying Dev kits just to mod halo 3, then they would go on PartnerNet, Microsoft would take action, and it would blow the cover of everyone who has a dev kit that shouldn't have one.
