It's now 2008. So 62 years ago, most of the world wouldn't have a clue what you were talking about when you say 'Computer'. But 62 years later, you're sitting there with your dell laptop with 4 Gig of RAM running windows XP thinking that is 'standard'. Just imagine what 'standard' will be like in the next 62 years. The reason you are saying it would take millions of years is because of RSA. It's not difficult to break, but it would probably take millions of years to brute force it with the computer equipment we have as 'standard' just now. But considering how fast computers are getting better, it may only be a few more years until computers are created that are able to brute force RSA in a matter of seconds. You might think that computers will never be able to do that; just as someone from 62 years ago would never believe in a machine you could carry around with you and play games on... like a PSP, for example ![]() So maybe you should put a bit more thought into things before saying "we won't be able to mod halo 3 maps for millions of years"... | ||||||

The current world's most powerful super computer can't even break RSA in 1000 years let alone a few seconds, and even if there was a computer that could break RSA 62 years from now would anyone even care that they can mod Halo 3????
