locating items in campaign

does anyone know how to find locations of items in campaign by using forge 2.0 or something or any tut.

You can use pancam and go to the object and write down the coordinets

Sure first off you want to open the map in johnson and go to the scnr tag and select meta editor. Then in the meta editor find the section that says control pallette like. Then flip through go through it till you find the chunk that has the tag that your looking for. And remember its index.



Now find where the control placement section is and flip through till you find the chunk that has the index of the tag in the controll pallette



My johnson is reading float values wrong as u can see in the above pic they all show up the same

This same method works for other tag types aswell. Say u wanted to find the location of a weap tag, you would just need to find the weapon placement and weapon pallette reflexives

there is a are 2. Skulls on halo. The first skull is in he begining of the mission. The other skull is located after you beat guilty spark, you make your way to the door on the cliff( where Johnson appears with laser), then you jump down to the lowest level in the snow(where you fight the flood in the begining of the mission), if you look around there should be a skull. No achievement will appear. It is similar to the secret skull on cortana. I wAsnt aware that it was called the recon skull though.

I already made a Thread about the "Secret" skull. The skull is on floodgate but no-one is able to find the coordinents on it. I asked for a Tut but only got one for CNTR and not Weap.

Why doesn't someone pick up that skull you mentioned ^ and complete the level while holding it... that is what activated the Cortana skull...
