Can you swap items from another map..
Hi and firstly its been a pleasure reading these forums, i have learned quite a bit and can now semi mod a map lol i can swap out items for other items, but my question is (and i have looked everywhere but its still not clear) can you swap one item with another off a different map, i have all the unmodded maps on my hard drive but i can only swap items if there on the same map...Thanks Jay..

No, the item has to be in the map file for you to put it in the map.

No, you cannot, you need that .map file to find the hex values to find what your gonna swap on the variant. If you tried to swap it from another map. Youd simply make nothing spawn, or corrupt it, or if your lucky spawn somthing random on the map.
