[sarcasm] I was watching a DVD the other day, and that came up. I thought that because it was so brilliant, and not-at-all annoying, it must have prevented MILLIONS of films from being downloaded. So I then thought to myself, "If this can stop video piracy so well... why don't we use it to stop people uploading mods to their Halo 3 fileshares?"


I think that this is so great, Bungie should use it to replace the video of the Microsoft and Bungie logos when Halo 3 starts in the next auto update. And it should be unskipable.

So keep this thread alive! Tell your friends, and we can make this a reality, and rid the world of mods, FOREVER! [/sarcasm]

Ok, I'm done with sarcasm, I do have a high res version, I just need to upload it somewhere. I don't know if this is the right thread for it, but I had to choose between 3 different ones and this seemed most logical. If it is wrong, I am sorry to anyone who gets offended, and kindly ask the mods to move it. Enjoy

considering modding has nothing to do with stealing, its dumb

the fact that you will be banned for having mods on fileshare is warning enough, but modding is not... "pirating"

Hmm, I thought it was quite obvious that this is a parody, and thus comedic. Also, this does -sorta- go in the modding section because, while funny, it does have to do with modding.

I actually was quite aware it was a joke, but I was still agreeing with dj because you could have said something about.. well, something more accurate to what uploading to the fileshare is. Planting bombs, plants, placing objects, some parody like that. And, again, the text thing is completely legit..

Plus there are the [sarcasm] tags to make it pretty easy..

I'm sorry but my videos are like my children, and I will defend them. Well, some of them. I thought that this particular video was related to the bad press modders are getting due to the uprise in file share mods. Serious modding forum or not, it's still nice to have a luagh once in a while.
