Question about RSA 2048 BitKey

As most people know if we got the private key we could mod .map files, but i have a question, what if i just randomly guess that it's idk... 34567898769, (please dont flame i dont know how many digits it would be...) well anyways if thats happens to be it and I cracked it, what would i even do with a bunch of numbers, I don't have knowledge of coding so i can't make a resigner, i could probably hand it to Shade but what would he do with it?

Re: Question about RSA 2048 BitKey

this has got to be one of the most bogus things i have ever heard

what if gene splicing became so advanced how would i go about turning into my furry character? what if gene splicing became so advanced, how could i turn my genes into bill gates?

its impossible, theres no point to it at all, plus, you will never guess it, so stop fantasizing, read up on programming and how to program RSA signatures, refer to the link in my sig, and just accept the fact its IMPOSSIBLE and will NEVER happen

Not impossible, improbable

It would take about seven years to brute-force... You won't guess it

Even with the key the signing algorithm would still be needed.

I have a question: If he did guess it and i know 7 years and all that stuff, how would you know if it is even right? Is there like a folder that bungie made with that code on it. Or am i way off?

He would attempt to sign the RSA signature in the map file and see if it works

Only very few people even at bungie know what the key is...

He's telling the truth and not buttering it up to create false hope.

Re: Question about RSA 2048 BitKey

im getting reaaal sick of noobs now
for those of you who think map modding is possible in general, look at the link in my sig
for those of you who say, "oh blah its possible, just highly improbable, blahblah," here's a prime example of how ignorant you guys really are

Hey some day we might all get lucky and bungie could make a mistake, like they did when they released the heroic ma pack a day early.

oh really? right now, without external equipment, butt naked, jump off a cliff and try to fly only with your wrists

a lot of things are impossible and never reachable

Re: Question about RSA 2048 BitKey

you tell us you are the one saying anything is possible... im just proving you wrong, saying a lot is impossible, therefore with the facts about halo modding with .map's, its impossible
