| Re: Question about RSA 2048 BitKey 1 - bruteforcing would work, but too bad the whole topic is if WE can get it, WE would be dead by then, therefore WE couldnt get it 2 - you can ask doesnt mean you will get it, they will say no, duh, so that means that is an impossibility 3 - thats not flying, thats not even soaring, thats called falling to the ground through the force of the earths gravitational pull, "flying" is being aerodynamic enough to push your body foward in the atmosphere without losing your height above ground, going against gravity so... ya... | Re: Question about RSA 2048 BitKey ya, like, what happened? hal0boy i thought was gonna be another halfway decent member, and then all of the sudden he started spewing out crap, you guys prolly fell victim to a picture of someones "map resigner," and believed him, the key isnt out, why would it be? HOW would it be? the question speaks for itself | ||||||

| Re: Question about RSA 2048 BitKey the key is 2048 BITS. This translates to 256 ASCII standard characters, or roughly 617 decimal digits long. While it is still a number (aka more maths!), remember that any number can be respresented in any base such as hexadecimal or even base-64 for example. also, for future reference, everyone please stop making new threads with your "questions". I don't care (none of us really do) if you just got here and didn't have time to look around first, but for christ's sakes, if you wanna get into halo 3 modding, you better be able to do a simple search first. Everything you ask has been answered before about 40 times. Last edited by Haxalot88; 08-24-2008 at 05:09 PM. | ||||||

I know if this was possible that it would still take a very long time. | ||||||

| Re: Question about RSA 2048 BitKey I actually have one of those completed, I could send you a copy if you would like. The main problem with that is it takes longer than actually factoring a number. Even with the most advanced method for doing so (mine eliminates about (n / (e^2)) results before the bruteforce where e is the first exponent and n is your modulus), it still takes a very long time to bruteforce even smaller keys (remember the exponential growth with the rsa still directly relates to the time it takes to crack). So while it is possible and has been implemented, it is still not feasible. Last edited by Haxalot88; 09-02-2008 at 11:08 PM. | ||||||
