| Novice | Film modding not going so great So just now I followed the Film modding tutorial in the AIO and it didnt go so well. I did everything exactly but when I loaded the film in Halo nothing changed. I had some problems finding where the armor was so I put it in the place the almost exactly resembled what armor I am whereing. I also changed my name (Vadiminator7) to Vadiminator1... nothing diffrent. Please someone tell me whats up. |

| 7S Addict | Re: Film modding not going so great make sure it is under 1 MB and that it is a film, and if your Hex editing it try using an app. like mirrage or superraisons thing, sometimes i mess up in HxD and it does the same thing |

| 7S Addict | Re: Film modding not going so great It doesn't matter if you use a hex editor or an app. The tutorial is pretty beginner-friendly anyways. |

| Novice | Re: Film modding not going so great It seems as if thought the file doesnt overright. Like I replace the original file on the harddrive and if I extract the same file there will be no changes on it. |

| 7S Addict | Re: Film modding not going so great It's not the same file, that's just how film files "work". There are films that won't show edits. Try editing a film by yourself. Should work. |

| 7S Addict | Re: Film modding not going so great [wildguess]Start the game and invite him? Or don't play with you friend.[/wildguess] The films I edit, I just play and pick the ones I got host in. |

| 7S Addict | Re: Film modding not going so great It's pretty simple for me. When you die or a grenade blows up near you, you see more blood than usual. |

| Novice | Re: Film modding not going so great Ok I tried again. I made a game then let my friend join it which should give me host. We played a game and then I went to editing it. In Mirage and "Film Tool" they both only detected that I played... Then after I edited my self hashed and signed I put it into the harddrive... tested ingame and NOTHING. | 7S Enthusiast | Re: Film modding not going so great An easy and fail proof way of testing if you are host is go into a forge game with your friends. Turn into the orb and look down then press up on the d pad. if you are still looking down when you turn into a spartan then you are host. if you are looking streight ahead then you are not host. Also host goes to the person with the better connection not because you created the game. Last edited by xXJOKERXx; 08-02-2008 at 10:34 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
