Re: What is the point

someone needs to break into bungie and steal one of their computers, we need real H3 mods. I heard before the beta came out people were downloading it off the computer making and iso, burning it to a dvd and playing it before it came out. Is that possible now or was that just because the servers were open?? (sorry probably been asked a million times)

Re: What is the point

making an ISO doesnt do anything but burn a ripped game for you to play
to mod, you would need some private keys that will never happen

to the OP: If some people got the beta early, they most likely were burning ISOs of Hard Drive emulation disks. The Beta at this point is only good for collectors or people learning about Bungie's progress in the development of Halo 3.

Re: What is the point

yea i mean its just a rumor i heard, see when i had the beta i didnt play it that much (like level 23). Did the custom game glitch once and never really played it again. If you watch videos and stuff it looks like a cross between h2 and h3, thats why i would like to go back and actually pay attention to everything. Well maybe some day someone will figure something out
