hmmm, well how many different ways can you use to make the same signiture? if you Compare the Right sig with Numerous Edited map sigs then you will eventually be abble to see how the Bad sig is calculated right?

It doesn't work like that. The signature that is written to the map header in the maps clean state is the signature generated off of all the data contained in the map in its original state. Halo 3 generates the signature of the map at run time and compared the generated signature to the signature written to the map header. If they match the map is correctly signed, if not you will get the "Failed to load the map..." error message. The signature in the maps header never changes, unless of course you change it... The signature generated at run time is what is effected by editing the data of the map file.

lawl i agree too i wrote it on an itouch and my thumbs cramping up were more important at the time rather than worrying about 1000 revisions
