Search and you'll find links to download full maps. If you use my new program it will save you some time. As you don't need full maps on your PC.

If you want to send me the map file over AIM, I'll take a look at it to make sure you edited it correctly.
Sure, that would be great! I have to sign up for aim first. I do have email if that helps.

KV.bin should be included in the resigner download.

When I tried to open up the file created by the Container Edits program in the Halo 3 Sandbox program, it says that there is an unhandled exception because the file is being used concurrently by another program, but this cannot be because I have shut down all other programs that would be using that particular file.

You should also make sure that the map file for that usermap is not open in another program like engineer or johnson.

Before we go on, make sure you have all of the maps from Halo 3 or the .map file of the usermap you are modifying. You can edit the settings of Sandbox to specify your .map folder.
Read.

I knew that was pertinent to my problem, but I'm not entirely sure what it means, and I don't want to mess up my halo 3 by doing something incorrect. What I think it meant is either if you have gotten the Container Editor program to make you that file, and then you put that file and the one that CE made it from in the same folder.

^tried this, and it didn't work^

The only other alternative is that you must have those .map files, I have them, but what am I supposed to do with them? I have them in the same location.

Go to tools-> settings, then located the .map folder and select its location.

Very Good Tut, i used to mod halo 2 alot but i sorta took a long break and forgot about it, when my XBOX broke. So i'm brand new to modding halo 3. But i was wandering. Can you use, a CROSSOVER CABLE you know, like a transfer cable, or do you need XPORT or XSATA.

No, There is no way to gain access to the Hard drive through the Ethernet port. You'll need a way to connect your Xbox 360 HDD to allow a data connection. You can open up the HDD and just connect it to a normal SATA connector in your computers motherboard, or you can buy XSATA or XPORT for that purpose.

I'm still hazy on the .map folder section, I need to know where the files need to go, and the particular files, and description of them, like their format, sorry, but its just one of those sentences that I just don't understand that well.
