whenever i try to run any of the programs i downloaded (aside from xport360) a message comes up saying:

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate the application."

Why is doing this? Am i missing some program on my computer to make these work?

You must download and install the .NET framework. The latest version is currently 3.5.

When ever i try to open the usermap in sandbox, a message comes up that says:

"Unhandled exception has occured in your application. if you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

The process cannot access the file 'C:/Documents and Settings/Winuser/My Documents/modded maps/guardian.map' because it is being used by another process."

Although, i do not have any other program open aside from sandbox. What can i do to fix this?

Make sure you have guardian.map in "C:/Documents and Settings/Winuser/My Documents/modded maps/".

Is it the actual map off of the Halo 3 disc?

On my xbox 360, i made a custom map where i placed some frags in the middle and the rest of the map is clear. then i used xport to get it on my computer. then i used xport360 and copied the map into a folder i made. After that i used container edits to make it a .map file. then in sandbox i try to open the .map file but it wont work.

you open the usermap file not the .map file, and somethimes it says it is used by another process because you have it open in another program, just close the other program and it should work

but in sandbox it will only let me open the .map file. if i try to open the usermap file it says i need to extract the user map from the con file before opening. You don't open the .map files, you open the extracted .map files. The ones you get by extracting the usermap file.

If you get Sandbox 3.0, you don't need the original .map files.

I use the container edits program to extract the usermap, then save the .map file. then i try to open that same .map file in sandbox and it will not work.

You have to register, then scroll down and click the attachment that says Sandbox3.zip.
