How to load any halo 3 campaign save on your 360

Re-Upped It

1. Load up the personal file in a hex editor and search for the string "players", all the IDs you will need are in there
2. Create a profile on your 360 with the gamertag in the players section
3. Open up your HDD and change the profile id of your new profile to the one in the players section
4. Transfer the personal file(resigned with correct profileid/deviceid) to the new profile(P/Content/New ProfileID/4d5307E6/00001(or something/the personal file)
5. Turn on your 360 and go to System Settings/Network Settings/Advanced/Alternate Mac Adress and change it to the one in the players section
6.Enjoy

Alternately the small app i have attatched can find the ids for u although sometimes the profileid doesent show up right

Mods work fine

Remember that if the personal file has already been corrupted by the *fail* campaign save resigner then it wont work and the save will restart at the beginning of the level

actually, not many have figured it out
a tip: dont trust the profile id that the con resigner reports on the file

and btw you can hold 4 weapons at once while playing as an odst

if i found a dev save and got it working could i play it on xbl co-op and have them be like ODSTs do or atleast c me as an ODST

no live/ no co-op(remember you cant save a co-op game)
and the odst 4 weapons is a glitch involving dual weilding

Hey I know this sound stupid, but do we keep our device id or do we change it to the personal file's device id?

u have to change the gt as well and if the save was made online u have to change the GT id and yea right didnt want to releace it when it been out for a wile

EDIT: you dont need to reboot the xbox BTW

So this DOES work? If it is confirmed to work %100, I may post one of my dev saves where you play as a Sentinel.

it works, the only checks halo 3 has are profile id and mac adress
if you post a save with a profile, that eliminates the profile part
mac adress is easily changable so... it works
ill get some pics of me as an odst eventually
