[How To] Hex Halo 3 Armor (Mega) White

In this Tutorial you will Learn how to Mod your Halo 3 armor to be Extra Bright White.

This tut is for Seasoned 'Modders' who know how to Extract their profile.

(You need a Good Rehasher to Handle Large Profiles, use Xbox 360 Hash Bloc Calculator found in this .rar:

In Halo 3 on your Xbox 360 change your armor (All Peices) to White (Helps you find your Armor Tags Later in Hex Editor)


Then Extract your profile from your HDD onto your PC and open it in a Hex Editor (Make a Backup to be Safe)


After you open the profile in a Hex Editor, (Hit Ctrl+F) Search for the Hex Values 02 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 02




You will find these values (Once or Twice, on my profile Twice, Just Hex them Both) next to your Spartan Number and tags for what armor your wearing (You can only Hex it to armor you have, not Recon you can try it if you really really want to, it won't work)



Now Hex the 02's to 1E's Then Save.



Rehash, Resign, Overwrite Old Profile on HDD
Turn it on Check on Halo 3 by signing in another profile or joining a friends game with White armor on and see how much more white you name is.

Final Notes:
- This Realy is not 'All That' but fun to do

- 1F and 1E both work for white armor

- You can search your Spartan # in Unicode, then look a little further up and find the FF's, at the end of the last Byte of FF's Count 7 bytes over and you will end at a Number, that is your armor Color, theres 3 Bytes between each Byte that is one of your Armor Colors Reflected in the Game.

- Message me on AIM or MSN for a Resigner that can Handle Large Files (Like Profiles.)

- The following Colors listed are ALL THERE IS in Halo 3, the xex has been checked and these are the only Colors, the Super Black and Zombie Colors from Gametypes are a different set of Enums, so they don't work same as these do. So anyone saying they have the code for Zombie armor or MegaBlack is a Liar.

i will extract my profile then i will open hex and it will give me the codes of white
but when on halo it will be white for 2 min then out of no where ITS RED
i hash blocked resigned and everything please help

If you try to Edit your armor Color in the game or even view your armor colors it changed to Tan, but then if you hit 'B' or 'Back' and don't change it, it goes back white. I've been Crazy white for 4 days now no problems, even after account recovery the armor stayed white.

Not really, makes your name more white than others in the lobby, your armor looks the same in game.

I know this may sound stupid but I just had a thought, since in gametypes we can change the certain values to our color to invisible. Could we use that value to change our color value to invisible?
