Yah same, It said that i had no gamerscore and nothing entered on my profile, luckily I made a backup.

That happens when you hex wrong or when ou rehash wrong.

Can you do dark black? Maybe the hex color would be the same because in odst you can have black as color.

No it's not possible to do black because no one has found the right hex code yet. It must be possible since it is an armour colour.

The only game where I have noticed non edited bright white armour is a territory control game on a sandbox level. When you die it puts you in this box area with a hammer.

No, what I mean is that shouldn't we be able to find the hex code now. Because in odst you can change your armor or emblem to dark black, and if It runs on the same engine as h3 wouldn't the hex color be the same? Correct me if I am wrong

Unknown v2 Looked at the xex to Halo 3, thats all the colors there are. Post the Hex Value and it can be tested, not likely that it will work.

The ODST hex value for Black is 00
The Halo 3 hex value for Steel is 00

They swapped out Steel for Black in ODST, so ODST has a Black value, while Halo 3 only has the Steel value.

Edit: Although, I honestly can't think of why there is an extra white color hex, since that color is only available via the forced colors option, just like black and zombie.

The Mega White and Mega Black + Zombie are two different things.

This doesn't work for me. It simply says 'disc is unreadable' and takes me back to the dashboard. It also wipes my gamerscore and all info on my profile. When I start the game again my character is back to default and has no stats. Only when I replace with my backup does it go back to normal.

Then your not editing the right thing.

I did exactly as instructed. I opened it up in hex workshop, there was only one set of hex values that matched 02 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 02. I changed the 02's to 1E's. I rehashed and resigned using CONcept. Did everything and it still stuffed up.

You need to use a better Rehasher, CONcept can't handle big files. Use Hash Bloc Calc, you can find it in my Resigning Pack:

I also was wondering why this "Mega White" existed. I had tested in a custom game to see if there was a difference between the white that is selected in "APPEARANCE" and the white that is a forced color in custom games, and in theater I saw that there was none. I did not test the Mega White however.

I think that if someone found why this color exists and what it is MEANT to be used for in the game, that could help us determine if other colors (black, zombie, olive) are possible to get as well (and if so, how).

Perhaps the Mega White is the color of the elite clones placeable on Valhalla and High Ground. Anyone care to test this?

I'm not sure why they are there, but Black and Zombie cannot be done the same way as this armor. The colors posted are the only ones that can be done.
