Best text editor for halo 3

The film research was a mistake. You know that. But as for the weapon enums. After I posted the weapon enums you copied and pasted it onto your post. When you said you already had them why did you use mines?

Notice the last time he edited his. He edited his about 2 hours after I posted it. And you even copied and pasted the way I spelled Plasma Rifle wrong. I accused you of stealing the weapon enums. You said they were yours.

hey miiniturvat(if i mispelled it sorry), ive been wondering how to do the buttons in the description for a month now, so thank you very much! you said something earlier about weapons or something? im not positively sure what it is, but could you teach me what it is?

Do you mean like getting the weapon icons in the description of maps and stuff?

It may be possible, but nobody has found the enums for the weapon icons (if there are any) and publicly released them. You're welcome to try and find them

I wouldn't know where to start... I guess you could just enter random bytes into the description of a usermap and see if you get any images, but it might take a while...

Uhm, Lux had them in his Boats and Hos post... remember? He had all of the enums I believe... you could ask him and then give him credit for half of the app ;p

it isn't that great if it only does Symbols, nothing near the best, but it is pretty good

i dont remember seeing them in his post, and ill try to find the weapon enums. if i do ill give u full credit for the program, and credit for myself for finding the programs. and you for convincing me find them

the weapon enums were NOT in his post. In the screenshot of the app he made, there was a button to insert a weapon image, but he clearly implied that they did not work yet...

I thought he had made his full working version now? I could be wrong but I thought he said he only needed a little amount of time and it has been a month or so. I could have sworn he finished it but wasn't released but I could be wrong

It'd be nice if he released it, but it's really his choice if he wants to or not. That's if he's even completed it yet

well, if u can put controller buttons and weapons, then you can probably put all forgable items like fusion coils, crates, mongooses, warthogs, etc... and if u can put that in, you can put in modded items. maybe not all at once, but overtime people will figure out how to do that. any1 agree?

I've basically remade my program to run off of a XML file so you can add image codes, so I'll add some **** and post it soon.

I don't think you fully understand...

You know when you run along and see a weapon on the floor, and says "hold <right bumper> to swap for <icon of weapon>", It's those icons we are talking about.

There are no icons for objects like fusion coils, thus we cannot do what you have stated.

oh... i see... what about vehicles? if u can do weapons, then u can do vehicles. its basically the same thing, isnt it?

Vehicles dont have icons. I know were the weapon enums are located but the strings that are used for them are different for each string. So it would show "Hold ??? to pick up ???" and "Hold ??? to switch for ???" We would know they are the same because after showing strings like these it would say something like "Picked up a energy sword". But the Symbol values for each of them seem to be different. So we would need to test them. I did find many other Icons for Lux to use in his app.
